Raw Material Wins Cosmetics 360 AwardCeapro Inc, a Canadian biotechnology company that develops and commercializes active ingredients from oats and other renewable plant resources for both healthcare and cosmetic use, won the Most Innovative Raw Material Award at the 2018 Cosmetics 360 Salon in Paris for its chemical complex, beta glucan-Co enzyme Q10 (“CoQ10-BG complex”). JuventeDC, is Ceapro’s proprietary line of cosmeceutical products that uses the Company’s active ingredients beta glucan and avenanthramides. Beta glucan is a water-soluble polysaccharide extracted from GMO-free oat (Avena Sativa). The polysaccharide works as a transdermal agent that may enhance the skin’s capacity to absorb active ingredients and may optimize antioxidant potential. “We are pleased to receive this noteworthy award from the Cosmetic 360® committee for the first-ever developed CoQ10-BG water soluble complex.
